British Parking Awards awarded Best Car Park Refurbishment 2018 to Ruskin Square, Croydon from a shortlist of 7 projects from around the UK last Friday.  Polly Church, Mark Potter and Steven Jones from PCHA were presented with the award together with wider members of the team including Russell Simmons from Stripe Consulting, Peter Snyman from Aecom and Paul Gallagher from JLL.  Ruskin Square is a major component of the Opportunity Area Planning Framework adjacent to East Croydon Railway station. It is being developed by Croydon Gateway Ltd Partnership, a joint venture partnership between Stanhope plc and the Schroders Real Estate Fund, whose brief was to resurrect this concrete building as part of the 1960s Brutalist architecture of Croydon rather than demolish and replace the structure.
