Reception & Lift Lobby Refurbishment, Dean Farrar St, St James, London

Reception & Lift Lobby Refurbishment

Potter Church & Holmes refurbished the tired reception area at this prestigious address in St James. We proposed four different design options to the client who then chose to combine 2 of those options to develop, we met and exceeded their expectations regarding what could be achieved in their relatively small space.

We removed all suspended ceilings and took the walls back to blockwork in order to maximise the internal space. We designed bespoke furniture for the space including a curved desk, wall hung signage & an external lightbox canopy. In order to complete this project we successfully gained planning permission & advertisement consent.

We have created a timeless scheme using quality materials such as American White Oak, Terrazzo & Brass. This will mean that the communal areas continue to impress potential tenants for the foreseeable future. The lift lobby was kept distinct in order to allow the client to gradually refurbish each level of the building over time. The lighting scheme was designed to increase the buildings visibility from the street and brighten what was a dark space.
