Award winning refurbishment in the heart of The Lanes in Brighton

Potter and Holmes completed the refurbishment of The Lanes Car Park with a second phase of work which focused on pedestrian accessibility to, and within the car park.

A new lift ensures accessibility for all users from Bartholomew Square to the car park below. Set within a refurbished and newly secured lift lobby at the South East corner of Bartholomew Square, the lobby also makes secure a previous problem space and ensures that the car park is now accessible only by ticket holding pedestrians. Customers now have an additional safe payment area.

New external illuminated signage increases the presence of the car park within a conservation area.

Substantial effort was invested in achieving well lit, attractive spaces throughout the refurbishment at all levels, within both lobbies and stair areas.

New signage and pedestrian marking on the car park deck provide clear routes through to the refurbished pedestrian lobby.
