At the heart of this car park refurbishment project is a glass panelled, fully encased new lift shaft taking pedestrians from Cavendish Square public gardens down to an underground parking garage operated by QPark and owned by Westminster City Council.  The trees, etched onto the glass frames are drawn by artist Ian Westacott, taking inspiration from the ubiquitous Plane trees planted in the gardens.

In addition to the new lift, we incorporated new parking bays, floor coatings and a brand new glass fronted customer service counter. Brighter lighting throughout the car park and pedestrian areas and clear external and internal signage make for the kind of pleasant experience few expect from an underground car park.
