We designed and secured planning permission for a new striking facade for Ipswich Borough Council’s new multi-storey car park. Inspired by the town’s historic arts and crafts heritage and evocative of the colours of the Suffolk countryside, Crown Car Park in the centre of Ipswich now has a fully perforated golden façade around all elevations, creating a memorable place for motorists arriving for the first time. The design also allows in plenty of light, creating a safe and welcoming space for visitors.
